Ross Name Plate: Artwork Creation and File Specifications

Ross Name Plate utilizes Adobe® products to produce layouts, templates, and stencils on film for silkscreen printing. Our team is proficient in developing custom artwork based on blueprints, instructions, and/or specifications. We can recreate or duplicate artwork from samples, scans, photographs, existing labels, or printed materials. Additionally, we can format and edit submitted artwork files in various digital formats, including vector files.

File Submission Guidelines:

Adobe Illustrator®: Save files as .EPS or .AI. Please convert text to outlines to prevent font incompatibility.
Adobe Photoshop®: Save files as .JPG or .TIFF at 100% black and a minimum of 300 dpi.
AutoCAD®: Save files as .DWG; .DXF format is acceptable but may not always be reliable. Ensure to include any necessary .SHX or .TTF (True Type Font) files.
Macromedia Freehand®: Save in any compatible format.

For optimal results, artwork should be submitted in these formats or those directly compatible with our software. Many applications offer the ability to save or export to these formats; please consult the relevant manuals or vendors for specific guidance.

While native MAC or Adobe files are preferred, we can convert most files from PC to MAC as needed. Whenever possible, please create font outlines to avoid font incompatibility. Alternatively, you may include specific fonts with your file (in MAC format). If you have questions about font availability in our system, do not hesitate to inquire.
